Well, a lot has happened since Rhekk finished Chapter 3. As a bit of a diversion, I played lots of Skyrim. Where Social Media is concerned, I started tweeting quite a bit (@RhekkAryon), joined the Twitter #SWTORFAMILY, and updated on my playing as much as I could. In addition, I ran through several Double EXP Weekends (or 2xXP as I’ve been referring to them as), and did as much leveling as I could afford to do with a IRL weekend job. I set out to finish Rhekk’s (my Mercenary) leveling to 50, and get both my Vanguard Rheymi and Operative Rhethan to 50. While I did not reach all my goals, I certainly was successful in several ways. Here’s some highlights.

Well, first and foremost, the first 2xXP weekend brought Rhekk from 47.5 to 50 via Warzones and Ilum.

*Sigh* Another Jedi standing in my way…

…preaching about my choice in occupation, and of course, still wanting to fight…

…and as usual, ending up on the wrong side of Rhekk’s blaster.

So with quests, warzones, and dailies, they brought me to this point within a few hours.

Four Down.

Most of the action that ensued involved leveling my Operative two levels (mid-high 20’s). No screens for that, but lots of fun. Really enjoying the Agent story, and am realizing again my inclination to lean toward Light-sided characters.

After that, I began working on my Vanguard. Level 26 – 39.

First Order of Business? Testing out my new Legacy Flamethrower, courtesy of Rhekk. Notice also Kaytra’s Legacy Lightning Storm.

Made it to the end of Chapter 1. To be honest, I felt like it didn’t bring enough of a climatic awesomeness as I expected it to. Still was fun, and satisfying to take care of the traitors.

Talk it up, fuzzball.

I win. Again.

Enjoyed playing with Dorne. I like healing companions in general, but she proved vital for me to run as a Vanguard, both Tank and DPS spec.

Side note, Elara became Rheymi’s second-in-command. I enjoyed getting that choice. On to Chapter Two!

Rescuing Vik. Loved this shot. And the ones that followed…from our blasters…pun intended.

Didn’t get much between there and the end, but really enjoyed Hoth.

And of course, my blasted screenshots that were bound to be epic, didn’t take. But, I got a few good ones near the end of the “Battle of the Gauntlet” saga.

And after way too many respawns, I made it out of the Gauntlet alive. Turning in the quest bumped Rheymi to 39, and officially wrapped up my 2xXP weekends. Sadly. But at least we have RotHC to look forward to. Read a lot, and so far have heard mostly good things about the expansion, so I can’t complain there. Not that I really do much anyway.

Oh, yeah…I think I still gotta go pre-order that thing. Time to get on that…

For good measure, I did get distracted a little. I blame my alt-oholism…or simply my borderline ADHD natur-…SQUIRREL!!! (That one’s for you, Torvox.)

Really liked this shot. Could never really get a good “receiving your first lightsaber” shot on any of my Glowbatter toons. Happy to finally nab one.

Got to Dromund Kaas, got ahold of some of the Last Handmaiden Set (Thank you Bioware!), and made it to 18 before shipping off to Balmorra.

So much more to look forward to in the coming days. How’d you guys enjoy the 2xXP weekends? Get lots of good leveling done? Have to balance IRL craziness? Ready to go show Makeb who’s boss? Get owned by all the under-50 Juggs and Maras in warzones like I did?
